One day, I wanted to explore the mixture in depth. from La Réunion rhythms to electronic sounds. Pushed by this inspiration, I went straight to the studio and started to compose a song. At that time, This merger was still quite rare. At the end of the session, I made my guitarist listen to the first draft. He looked at me and said: « Boys! You created a Maloya Futur. »

Then I decided to go further and build an entire album around this concept.
To maintain organic dimensiona connection with the source, I invited Melody (Elodie Cuvelier) and Guigs to pose choruses, then Vincent Phileas to enrich some pieces with his congas.

The story of DOMIN

« Dominant » says the Initiatory trip a young Reunion who feels that his destiny does not stop The horizon. Knowing that there are a thousand things to discover beyond his island, he makes a decision to leave. Tomorrow, he's flying.

Through this album, I wanted to transcribe this quest for freedom and discovery, where each song is a stopover, a moment suspended between roots and elsewhere.

A sound between tradition and the future

In this album, the synths match with the vibrations of bobr, roll, kayamb and creole songs. The Electronic textures come to wrap up the Traditional rhythms to give birth to reinvented music, projected towards tomorrow.
