Fikirais a collaborative album by Aleksand SAYA and Sarera, released in June 2025. The project includes:8 tracks (5 originals + 3 remixes)and was born from several artistic residences between La Réunion and Mayotte.

• Mahorese traditionsas the mgodro worn by Sarera

The whole is enriched bymodern electronic textures, creating a hybrid sound that mixes roots and innovation.

On the project, the songs combine traditional instruments (percussions, gabousa, etc.) local rhythmic (maloya, mgodro, Swahilia influences) electronic production (bass music, club, remix culture)
This duality gives one music at a timewarm, dancing and experimental, where traditions remain at the centre but dialogue with contemporary codes.
