An initiative to break isolation

During the confinement due to VOCID-19, everyone was bored at home, taped on their phone, scrolling endlessly, looking for a little bit of human connection. The more the days passed, the more we wondered if we would ever return to a « Normality ». Paradoxically, it is probably at that time that many began to Toggle deeply into the virtual world.

To break this monotony, organize a remix contest online.

A musical challenge open to all

The principle was simple:
🎼 I have made available a a cappella and melodic lines extracted from the album Dominant In a drive.
🎛️ Everyone could participate and propose its own version, his vision of electro maloya.
🎤 2 weeks later, we discovered together the remixes in live and direct on the Internet.

The enthusiasm was at the meeting! The proposals came in, so that I had to make a selection to arrive at a official compilation of the 10 remixes.
